Lighting technology today is more environmentally friendly than ever before. Thanks to modern LED technology, electricity can be saved through more economical technology. Add on through targeted use you can also save light yourself. Modern control technology also helps to reduce energy consumption through demand-oriented lighting.
Alongside the generation of heat with electricity and the power consumption of our digital world, light is still considered one of the largest energy consumers worldwide. This shows how important it is to look at the energy consumption of lighting, especially because savings can be made quickly and easily without having to restrict the comfort to which we are accustomed.
In the short period from 2018 to 2021 alone, our customers saved 429 million kWh compared to conventional light sources with the lighting technology we supplied. This corresponds to 172,074 tons of Co2.

Of course, we also use the most modern technology. Our central warehouse is equipped with highly efficient LED lights. We use natural daylight and supplement it only with the minimum of artificial light necessary to perform visual tasks safely and reliably. In addition, sensors register every movement and switch off the artificial light when it is not needed.
We are also constantly striving to act ecologically in many other places. We reuse packaging material from incoming goods for outgoing goods and thus save many tons of packaging material per year: We are a collection point for light bulbs, which at the end of their life make their way from here to recycling. In order to reduce delivery distances, our goods inspection has been relocated to the production site and our employees are constantly working on optimizing the goods routes in order to avoid unnecessary transport kilometers. (In addition, there are many small adjusting screws that we turn in the direction of sustainability.
